  I have always preferred Halfords to any other garage, for price, efficiency, quality of workmanship and convenience of location. Importantly, as a woman I feel comfortable taking my car to them, as they treat me respectfully, which I'm sad to say in this day and age, other garages still don't often do. I would have given 5 stars prior to my most recent visit, but unfortunately on this occasion they neglected to tighten the screws on a service flap underneath my car, which meant it came down and dragged on the road, causing me initial concern as to the source of the noise, and then an extra trip back to the closest Halfords (in Cardiff) for this to be rectified. Despite this error, Halfords will continue to be my first choice for motoring needs.

  The booking was easy, the job-sheet was ready at reception and the car was ready when they promised. More importantly, they remembered me, or my rather unusual car, from the same time past year. That's customer service!

  I had the pleasure of an impromptu visit to this branch of Halfords Autocentre on a Sunday due to a problem with my wife's car. I cannot speak more highly of the gentleman on reception and the mechanic who worked on the vehicle. Polite, friendly, approachable and prompt; all late on a Sunday afternoon when I am sure everyone had a long week and would rather be home. They resolved the problem promptly and were very keen on me not spending more money than we needed to. Highly recommended.
